Prom was excellent. I enjoyed myself very much and was quite satisfied with my attire. Josh was a wonderful date. The night was almost perfect until Josh and I decided to wait until 4:30 am to see if we won any of the raffles. Clearly, we were in it to win, but came home empty handed. Deliriously, we bagged on life while Josh drove me back at 6 am as we watched the sunrise.

okay. um, wow. give it up for an amazing weekend provided by radiohead, pixies, death cab, the sounds, broken social scene, cursive, mogwai, the cure, and bright eyes, oh man. bright eyes left me in utter awe. the set was so raw and beautiful. it was just brilliant. i definitely did my fair share of dancing this weekend. we're junior, we're senior, we're junior junior senior. thanks to all my friends for making my weekend so fabulous. last night was a non-stop party. unfortunately, i don't remember much of it. dust storms, cooler incidents, high speed pursuits, and philosophical statements accompanied us on our way home. yeah, good times.

so i've come the realization that i'm really proud of my grandma. she put up a strong fight and tried with all her might to stay around for the people who cared about her most, her family. she always told us that she would much rather die suddenly, of a heart attack or something quick. but she stuck around for us. she put up with all the pain and agony for me and this is what made her an amazing person. i loved her and she will always be missed.
